An old man daily visits a history museum, looking for information on his father. He had cut his relations with him fifty years ago as his father supported the war effort. Desiring peace, the man had studied atomic physics to promote the peaceful use of nuclear power. He was also looking for his mother who had died protecting him from the bullets of a fighter plane during the war. Though she had vanished like a bubble in a wave, she still lives in him.

あらすじ

歴史博物館に、毎日訪れる初老の男。彼は「何か」を探していた。

決別した父を、少年時代の自分自身を。

ー 貴方のようには生きません。決して ー

50年前、戦争に加担した父にそう告げた。

そして私は、核の平和利用を信じ、原子力を学んだ。

・・・「何か」を探していた。自分をかばって死んだ母を、母の答えを。
